Dark CreationPromises made but never kept
Things said but never meant
Words are lies
That cause pain

Broken trust
Dying heart
Mind fading
Body withering

You did this
With your promises unkept
And your words not meant
Creating my painful death

SomethingI painted paper butterflies
And set them on your fence.
Why your fence of all fences
I cannot comprehend.
The picket lines traversing
The rotting, falling hills
Were so white and so pristine
In the world destroyed by will,
And though you destroyed the waving colors
That are now a rusted past
Your fence was the only thing
I could see that stayed to last.
And so it goes to show, I think
That though you did us wrong
You are Something in the Nothing,
And you would help me should I fall.

The Beauty of MusicMusic makes me forget all my troubles,
It doesn't make me worry anymore.
Music makes my happiness to double,
It will forever have all mi amor.
The melody brings such sweet harmony,
That I feel like I'm flying in the sky,
Where the lyrics are so full of beauty,
The sweet sounds and lyrics make me feel so high.
But sometimes it just deepens the wounds more,
Music has control over my feelings,
It dictates my life and I despise that
It makes me feel weak but it's so daring.
I may loathe how it controls my feelings
But it's the reason why I'm still living.

I Swear I'd be Pretty AgainIf you told the sky
that blue was nice,
but not your favorite color,
I swear it'd glow more vibrantly.
And likewise, if you
could only find the courage to
tell me I am not perfect,
that I am flawed,
and that sometimes,
you can't bear to
be around me,
I swear I'd try harder.
If you could only tell me I changed
and that I'm not who I was,
If you could only tell me
that I am ugly,
I swear I'd be pretty again.

But I took his age-old hand,
And squeezed the dyng fingers
As you left me once again.

and piecing broken hearts.

Monsters are the size of my jeans.
Monsters will never let me be.
Fighting against me and this thing I am forced to call a body.
Monsters are carbs,
I am the superhero with the power starve.
Monsters are the suspicious people around,
Monsters are the sounds,
Escaping my humongous stomach.
Monsters are horrid objects such as ovens.
Monsters are ugly and fat,
And I am just that.

Tired of trying,
Tired of cutting,
Tired of crying.

I want to be gone,
Be safe,
Be happy,
Be loved.

Why can't i smile?
Why can't i laugh?
Why can't i relax?
Am i not good enough?

I Wonder...Sometimes I wonder what I am,
If all these pieces actually make a man
Or if I’ve lost a piece or two
From all the times I’ve shattered.
I can’t help but wonder that maybe
If my pieces are scattered,
That the moon might make a nice eye,
And the black night sky its lid.
Perhaps the stars would be better,
But they shine in another sky,

Hidden behind their own black veil.

How we can all be so broken,
And still have hope that maybe,

Gradually I feel my mind compelling,
Back to almost a month ago,
When I was still apart of the freak show.
Dancing on the stage,
With a pointy blade,
Focused on a luscious vein.
The oh's and ah's of the crowd causes pain,
I finally notice how different I really am.
I finally notice there is nothing I can,
Do to pick up the glass without getting cut.
I finally noticed that all I am is a nut.
I finally noticed that deep down I'm in the freak show for life,
I can no longer hide and fight,
The true me when it's thriving to come out.

What Can I Do?When I turn on the TV,
And settle down to watch,
Cast into another world, 'cause I don't like this one,
I can't help but wonder if I'm hiding away
From all the dampened people that won't live another day,
And the little people from their families torn away,

I wanna feel nothing again,
bury myself in the fury of
my half-death, alive but not
feeling, muted and silent.

I wanna have nothing again,
free myself to the unending
scorn of those around me and
be able to not care.
